How Irocis-LIPO works

Ferric pyrophosphate supplies the iron the body uses to build haemoglobin, the protein in red cells that carries oxygen. Without enough, the cells made are small and pale and carry less oxygen -- which is the tiredness, pallor and breathlessness of anaemia. Folic acid and vitamin B12 are included because the same cells need both in order to divide at all. Ferric pyrophosphate is micronised and largely tasteless, which is why it is used in preparations for children.
