How Napronic-D works

This is a combination, and each component addresses a different part of the problem. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs block cyclo-oxygenase, the enzyme that converts arachidonic acid into prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are what sensitise nerve endings to pain and drive the swelling and redness of inflammation, so reducing them addresses the pain and the inflammation behind it rather than the sensation alone. Domperidone is included as a prokinetic and anti-emetic.
