Cista Medicorp (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs cistamedicorp.com. This policy explains
what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what happens
to it afterwards.
It is written to be read, not to cover us. If anything here is unclear, please
write to the address at the bottom and we will explain it.
A product catalogue and an enquiry form. There are no user accounts, no
shopping cart, no payment page and nothing to log into. We never ask for card
details, bank details or any government identity number, and no page on this
site has a field for them.
If a page claiming to be ours ever asks you for any of that, it is not us.
Please tell us.
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive:
– your name
– your email address
– your phone number, if you enter one
– the segment or product you are asking about, if you select one
– whatever you write in the message box
That is the whole list. Every one of those fields exists because we need it to
reply to you.
Like any website, ours records some technical information when a page loads:
– the page you opened and when
– roughly where in the world the request came from
– the browser and device type
– the page that sent you to us, if any
This is ordinary web traffic information. It is not tied to your name unless
you have also sent us an enquiry.
### Cookies
Our own site sets no tracking cookies. The cookies present come from two
places: WordPress, if you are logged in as a member of our team, and the
analytics service described below.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site
stops working if you do.
We do not use any of it to build a profile of you, and we do not run
advertising on this site.
We think this is worth stating plainly, because it is where most policies go
quiet:
– We do not sell your information. Not to anyone, at any price.
– We do not share it for marketing.Your details are not passed to other
pharma companies, distributors, list brokers or agencies.
– We do not send bulk promotional messages to people who only asked a
question.
If you ask us about a product, you will hear back about that product. That is
the extent of it.
Only three kinds of people or systems:
– Our own team – the people who answer enquiries and arrange supply
– Our website host, which stores the site and its database on its servers
– Our email provider, which carries the message from the form to our inbox
We do not have affiliates or partner companies who receive your details.
We will disclose information if a court, a regulator or a law enforcement
authority lawfully requires it. If that ever happens we will tell you, unless
the law forbids us from doing so.
Google Analytics – measures how many people visit and which pages they
read. It uses cookies. We do not use it to identify individuals. You can opt
out with Google’s own browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
WhatsApp – the “Chat with us” button opens WhatsApp. From that point the
conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, not ours.
Google Maps – the map on our Contact page is embedded from Google and
loads directly from their servers.
We do not control what these companies do with the information their own
services collect. Their policies apply to that, alongside ours.
On servers in India, with our hosting provider. Backups are held in the same
way. Nothing is deliberately transferred outside India by us, though the
third-party services named above operate their own infrastructure.
Enquiries – for as long as the business relationship makes sense, and up
to three years after your last contact with us. After that they are deleted.
Traffic information – around fourteen months, which is what our analytics
service retains by default.
Anything required by law – tax and regulatory records are kept for the
period the law requires, regardless of the above.
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
– tell you what information about you we hold
– correct anything that is wrong or out of date
– delete what we hold, where we are not required to keep it
– withdraw your consent, after which we stop using it
– nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you cannot
Write to the address at the bottom. We will respond within thirty days. There
is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can raise it

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may approach the Data Protection
Board of India.
Please do not send us patient details, prescriptions, medical reports or
anything about a specific person’s health through this form. We are a
manufacturer and supplier, not a clinic, and we are not equipped to hold that
kind of information.
If something of that nature reaches us, we delete it.
We will update this page when what we do changes. The date at the top tells
you when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we handle your
information, we will say so on this page rather than change it quietly.
