How Tramcis-Forte works

This is a combination, and each component addresses a different part of the problem. Paracetamol raises the pain threshold centrally and acts on the hypothalamic centre that sets body temperature, which is what brings a fever down. It has little peripheral anti-inflammatory action, so it is combined with an anti-inflammatory rather than used in place of one. Tramadol acts on opioid receptors and also slows the reuptake of serotonin and noradrenaline, which strengthens the body's own descending pain control pathways.
