How Keraplex works

Hair is made almost entirely of keratin. Hydrolysed keratin is broken into fragments small enough to enter the damaged hair shaft and fill the gaps left where the cuticle has lifted -- so the surface lies flat again and light reflects evenly, which is what shine actually is.
