About the Cosmetics range

Cista Medicorp manufactures a product dermo-cosmetic range under a cosmetic licence with GMP norms, available for PCD franchise and third-party manufacturing on monopoly rights across India.

The skin range is built on actives at stated percentages rather than on fragrance: vitamin C at 2 to 10 per cent, niacinamide, glutathione, kojic acid, retinol, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, copper peptides, and the AHA and BHA exfoliating acids.

Sunscreens run from mineral zinc oxide and titanium dioxide formulations at SPF 50 to tinted and mist formats. Serums, day and night creams, sleeping masks, mud masks, scrubs, toners and under-eye creams complete it.

The hair range covers Redensyl, Procapil and Burgeon actives in a growth serum, keratin and biotin shampoo, conditioner and hair mask, and a multi-oil hair oil. There are intimate hygiene washes formulated separately for women and men, body butters, body scrubs, stretch mark cream, silicone scar gel and soaps.

A cosmetic is judged on things a customer notices immediately: whether it separates in a hot warehouse, whether the pH suits the skin it is meant for, whether the active is still at label strength six months on. Stability, pH and microbial limits are checked on every batch.
