How Alerma works

This is a combination, and each component handles a different part of the problem. Clotrimazole blocks the fungal enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, which the fungus needs to build ergosterol for its cell membrane. Without ergosterol the membrane becomes leaky and the cell cannot survive. Human cells use cholesterol instead of ergosterol, which is what keeps the action confined to the fungus. Beclomethasone dipropionate is a topical corticosteroid of moderate potency. It binds the glucocorticoid receptor inside the skin cell and switches off the genes that produce inflammatory mediators, so redness, swelling and itch settle. Moderate potency suits eczema and dermatitis on ordinary skin, where a super-potent steroid would be more than the condition needs. Infected, inflamed skin rarely has a single cause, which is why these are formulated together rather than applied one after another.

Why ChooseAlerma?

Manufactured at a WHO-GMP certified facility under GLP, ISO and GMP norms, with raw material from approved vendors and in-house quality testing on every batch. Topical products live or die on their base -- how well the active spreads, how it feels and whether it stays where it is put -- and ours are formulated with that in mind. Offered to PCD franchise partners on district-wise monopoly rights, with pan-India supply and complete promotional support.
